MPEG animations in this directory illustrate the changes in the appearance
of the subdivision surface when scheme parameters are changed.
The initial mesh for all surfaces is an icosahedron.

Interpolating Subdivision for Meshes with Arbitrary Topology

first.mpg The first eigenvalue changes from 0.5 to 1,
then from 1 to -1, and back to 0.5
second.mpg The second eigenvalue changes from 0.25 to 1,
then from 1 to -1, and back to 0.25.
w.mpg The tension parameter in the Butterfly scheme changes
from 0.0 to 0.08, then from 0.08 to 0.08 and back to 0.0.
